POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief County Surveyor operates under general supervision, overseeing the County's surveying operations, land development processes, and map maintenance activities. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with state and local surveying regulations and standards.

The Chief County Surveyor leads a team of surveyors and technical staff, reporting directly to senior engineering management. Responsibilities include managing surveying projects, conducting boundary surveys, and maintaining accurate records.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A strong background in land surveying, with comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Proven leadership skills, capable of managing diverse teams effectively.
