About the Role
Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, support, and services to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of our patients are met.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
- Support the healthcare team in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Completion of a nursing assistant program or equivalent experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Strong sense of accountability and teamwork.
