Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

The Nurse Practitioner II role at Children's Hospital Los Angeles is a critical position that requires a skilled and compassionate healthcare professional to provide high-quality care to patients. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, promoting health and wellness, and managing acute and chronic diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing and medical services to patients, including health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Function autonomously and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to diagnose and manage patient care needs.
- Act as a healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, patient advocate, and mentor for NP colleague development.
- Contribute to the analysis of the CHLA healthcare delivery system to provide optimal patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of pediatric experience, with 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- A Master's degree in Nursing from an NLN-accredited graduate school of nursing.
- Current California Registered Nurse License and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- AHA BLS/PALS certification and National Certification as an NP in a specialty field.
