About the Role

This position is an exciting opportunity to join the Sherwin-Williams team as a Retail Store Associate. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and sales experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and sales support to customers in person and over the phone
  • Determine customer needs and present appropriate products and services
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with company policies and procedures
  • Meet or exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain accurate work order files and formulas
  • Pull and load products from the sales floor or warehouse
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications
  • Deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles
  • Maintain the store vehicle and report any repair or servicing needs to the supervisor
  • Adhere to assigned routes and schedules
  • Comply with all laws, traffic regulations, safety procedures, and company policies when driving a vehicle
  • Prepare reports and documents relating to deliveries
  • Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
