Mental Health Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide support to high-risk mental health patients, ensuring their safety and delivering a therapeutic environment.
This is a part-time position, working 24 hours per week on rotating night shifts. You will be required to work varied shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist patients with activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Obtain clinical data, such as vital signs, height, and weight, and collect specimens.
- Perform point-of-care testing and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Assist visitors and answer telephones in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to establish goals and restrictions of privileges based on patient behavior and level of care.
