We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our award-winning team at Southern Regional Medical Center, a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation. As a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Telemetry Unit, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, ECGs, and other vital signs to identify potential issues and take appropriate action.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and timing.
- Document patient progress, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans, in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator Management experience preferred.
- Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
