Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a company vehicle to customer locations, loading and unloading products as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Ensure products are delivered to customers in a timely and safe manner, adhering to Pella's quality standards
  • Collect payment from customers for COD orders and issue receipts
  • Notify management of any issues or concerns, such as product shortages or damage
  • Obtain customer signatures for delivery verification
  • Develop and implement suggestions for continuous improvement
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all safety protocols
  • Report any vehicle maintenance needs to management
  • Maintain accurate records, including DOT logbooks
  • Meet company safety requirements, including wearing required safety apparel and maintaining a clean work area
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred
  • Valid commercial driver's license required
  • Prior delivery experience preferred
  • Familiarity with computers and ability to learn proprietary software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
