About the Role

This is a nursing position that requires proficiency in Perioperative practice, providing care within Borgess Medical Center. The Registered Nurse First Assistant will be responsible for nursing care, treatment, and health teaching of individuals experiencing changes in normal health processes or requiring assistance in maintaining health and preventing or managing illness, injury, or disability.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with patients and healthcare teams to identify mutual goals and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Diagnose, treat, and evaluate human responses to health problems and needs.
  • Evaluate outcomes of nursing plans and revise as necessary.
Requirements
  • Licensure: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 month of hire date required. Licensed Registered Nurse obtained within 3 months of hire date required.
  • Education: The Registered Nurse must have an Associate's of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) Degree or Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or RN Diploma at start date.
  • Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Perioperative practice as a scrub/circulator required.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
