Job Summary:

As a Retread Tire Technician at Goodyear, you will be responsible for performing retreading functions for light and medium truck, bus, and specialty tires. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform retreading functions, including inspecting and repairing tires, and applying new tread to worn-out tires.
  • Repair out-of-service or improperly working equipment in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment using a scheduled maintenance program.
  • Install new equipment and perform a variety of manual tasks as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as tire repair or manufacturing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
