Commonwealth Senior Living at Willow Grove is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Director of Resident Care Services to lead our care team. As a nurse leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents while building strong relationships with their families, staff, and leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model the company's core values and treat every resident and family member with respect and dignity.
- Ensure residents receive high-quality care in compliance with Federal and State regulations and policies.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate care staff to maintain high standards of service and care.
- Coordinate staffing schedules and oversee continuing education programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct thorough assessments and communicate any changes in residents' health to the appropriate individuals, including family members and healthcare providers.
- Support administration in maintaining high census and in referral development to ensure the continued growth and success of the community.
- Act as a resource person for residents and families in the community, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement goals and measure outcomes to lead a successful care team and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Current LPN or RN license.
- 2-5 years' experience in providing resident care to the elderly in a supervisory role.
- Experience with resident assessment and care planning, including the development of individualized care plans.
- Ability to demonstrate sincere compassion and empathy towards older adults.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to make appropriate decisions in stressful situations, prioritizing the needs of residents and staff.
- Commitment to living out the company's mission of improving the lives of seniors and their families.
