We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team at The Esther at Riverbend Assisted Living. As a Server, you will provide exceptional table service to our residents, staff, and guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take food and beverage orders and deliver them to the kitchen.
- Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to residents.
- Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to everyone's satisfaction.
- Collect plates and clear the table as soon as the meals have been finished.
- Assist with other kitchen tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.
Requirements:
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Ability to prepare and serve a wide range of foods skillfully.
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor under stress.
- Ability to relate well with other employees and residents of the facility.
Training and Experience:
- Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
- Experience in dealing with elderly and their dietary needs.
- Experience in a similar position with a long term or related facility.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 40-50 pounds regularly during work hours.
