Engineering Team Lead Opportunity

About the Role

The Software Team Lead will be responsible for building a collaborative and inclusive team environment, ensuring effective project management, and fostering individual and team growth. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in managing engineering teams, with a strong background in software development practices, resource planning, and Agile methodologies.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create a positive work culture and empower team members to contribute to the company's success.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and set clear expectations for individual and team performance.
  • Identify skill gaps, develop personalized growth plans, and support engineers' professional development.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align team goals with company objectives and ensure project success.
  • Lead the recruitment process, attract top talent, and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Coordinate compensation, promotions, and recognition programs to reward high-performing engineers.
  • Address conflicts, promote a respectful work environment, and engage HR support when necessary.
  • Maintain compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and workplace conduct guidelines.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of management experience overseeing engineering teams.
  • Foundational technical knowledge of software development practices, Agile methodologies, and resource planning.
  • Experience with project management tools and frameworks.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills using performance and engagement metrics.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage cross-functional teams.
