About the Role:

Topsider Building Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Woodworker & Supervisor Trainee to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our post and beam, timber frame structures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the fabrication of major building components using proprietary post and beam, timber frame building systems.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings to ensure accurate production.
  • Perform various woodworking tasks, including finish carpentry and wood fabrication.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a woodworking job shop, wood furniture manufacturing, cabinet making, or similar precision manufacturing with wood.
  • Ability to read shop drawings and perform paperwork tasks.
  • Computer literacy is a plus.
