We are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our team at Leidos Holding. In this role, you will provide expert-level support to one of the DoD Agency’s key customers in various security areas.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of security practices and procedures, including physical and information security. You will be responsible for ensuring the secure operation of facilities, systems, and personnel within the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security plans and procedures
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Manage security records, process courier cards, and handle visit authorization requests
  • Provide all access control for DoD Agency spaces at multiple Government locations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience and understanding of DoD security practices and procedures
  • Hands-on experience in physical security assessments/inspections and SCIF/SAPF security requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with SIPR and JWICS security domain protocols
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • US Citizenship with an active Top Secret/SCI government security clearance required

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
