Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Neuro Stepdown Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Hospital South. As a Neuro Stepdown RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with neuro-surgical and neuro medicine conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with neuro-surgical and neuro medicine conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage patient symptoms, medications, and treatments to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Experience in neuro-surgical or neuro medicine nursing preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
