Armed Security Officer - Event Security

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Armed Security Officer - Event Security to join our team in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the protection of our staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol designated areas of the client's premises to detect and deter any suspicious activity or potential security breaches.
  • Monitor surveillance systems and alarm systems to identify and respond to security threats promptly.
  • Provide a visible security presence within the client's premises, reassuring patrons and staff while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Respond to emergency situations, and collaborate closely with client management, local law enforcement, and emergency services as needed to address security concerns and coordinate responses.
  • Carry and responsibly use firearms in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, ensuring proper handling and storage at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of required firearms training and certification, with up-to-date requalification.
  • Previous experience in security, preferably in high-risk environments or guarding sensitive assets.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
