About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular RN Program Coordinator to join our team at Northern Nevada Health System. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, evaluating outcomes, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Direct Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care, evaluate patient outcomes, and consult with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Specialty Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge of cardiovascular procedures, instrumentation, and implants.
  • Circulation and Assistance: Circulate and assist with specialty equipment and components of cases.
  • Performance Improvement: Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Current RN Licensure: Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Nevada.
  • BSN Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
  • Cardiovascular Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of cardiovascular experience.
  • Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certification, with Point of Care certification required within six months of hire.
