The University of Massachusetts Medical School is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the coordination and management of clinical research studies, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage clinical research studies, including obtaining informed consent from research participants, scheduling and conducting study visits, and collecting and managing data.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Develop and maintain study protocols, case report forms, and other study-related documents.
- Collaborate with investigators, research staff, and sponsors to ensure the successful completion of research studies.
- Monitor and maintain study-related supplies and equipment.
- Participate in the development of research proposals, grant applications, and manuscripts for publication.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or health-related field, or equivalent experience.
- 0-1 year of related experience for Clinical Research Coordinator I, 1-3 years for Clinical Research Coordinator II, 3-5 years for Clinical Research Coordinator III, and 5-7 years for Senior Clinical Research Coordinator.
- Ability to travel to off-site locations.
