Job Summary:
Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Behavioral Health Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality behavioral health services to patients in a primary care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to determine the appropriateness of patients receiving services in the primary care setting.
- Develop and implement behavioral health interventions and treatment plans in collaboration with primary care physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Provide consultation-based services to patients and primary care physicians, utilizing an integrated care model.
- Participate in group medical appointments, including Shared Medical Appointments (SMA) and Drop-in Group Medical Appointments (DIGMA).
- Provide technical direction and clinical insight into relevant projects being conducted at the site of service.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and provide consultative services to patients suffering from pain.
- Participate in an on-site designated Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) tele-mentoring training program.
- Participate in tele-mentoring, tele-medicine, and tele-consults.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.
- Experience working in a primary care setting and providing behavioral health services to patients.
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality services to patients in a primary care setting. The Clinical Psychologist will be required to work independently and as part of a team to provide comprehensive behavioral health services.
