Driver Instructor

Whitehall Memorial High School seeks a skilled and dependable Transportation Specialist to transport students, staff, and others safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsement, a Motor Vehicle Operator's License, and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a bus driver in a school setting is highly valued.

• Driving and Safety: Safely operate a school bus on designated routes, adhering to time schedules and loading/unloading students at designated locations.
• Field Trip Support: Assist with organizing and executing school field or activity trips, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.
• Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection: Regularly inspect and maintain the assigned bus to ensure it remains in good working condition, identifying any potential issues before they become major problems.
• Communication and Problem-Solving: Effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff, responding promptly to their needs and concerns while addressing any issues that may arise during transportation operations.

Candidates must possess a valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsement, a Motor Vehicle Operator's License, and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior experience working as a bus driver in a school setting is highly desirable.
