Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients.
  • Administer contrast media as required.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and scan results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field.
  • Previous experience with CT scanners and contrast media administration.
  • GE and PACS experience required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is a 13-week contract position with a WEEKENDS BLOCK (Wed-Sun) schedule. Shift hours are Wed – Sun 11p-7a, with flexibility to accommodate manager's needs. The successful candidate will work primarily in CT and float between the 3 GE CT units, serving inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients.
