About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at STERNO – A Sterno Group Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and plant facilities.
  • Apply technical skills, knowledge, and experience to implement and/or repair electrical, pipe fitting & plumbing, welding, hydraulic, and pneumatics systems.
  • Operate automatic equipment, setup, repair, and maintain machinery.
  • Interpret drawings and read schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing/operations maintenance.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
