POSITION OVERVIEW: This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time, tenure-track faculty role in the Marketing discipline at the Arlington Place of Oelwein. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, conducting research, and engaging in service activities within the academic community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing, including but not limited to Sales Strategies, Marketing Analytics, and Advanced Selling Techniques.
  • Possess the capability to instruct courses in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, and/or the application of Artificial Intelligence in Marketing.
  • Engage in scholarly research, contributing to recognized marketing journals.
  • Advise undergraduate students and collaborate with student organizations.
  • Participate actively in service initiatives within the department, school, and broader community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • ABD status with a commitment to complete the doctoral dissertation or possess a doctoral degree from an accredited institution with a focus on Marketing or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of two years of residency during doctoral studies.
  • Experience as an instructor or teaching assistant for at least one university-level course.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills.
  • Evidence of teaching excellence and innovative instructional methods in Marketing.
  • Strong potential for scholarly contributions in the Marketing field.

Preferred:

  • Completed Ph.D. in Marketing from an accredited institution.
  • Experience teaching diverse groups of students at the college level.
  • Professional experience in the industry.
  • Publications in peer-reviewed marketing journals.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational practices.
