Job Summary:

Adamas Building Services is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Pool Attendant to join our team. As a Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests at our pool and beach areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Efficient and Professional Service: Ensure that all guests receive courteous, informative, and thorough service at the pool and beach areas.
  • Assist with Beach and Pool Setup: Assist guests with setting up beach and pool chairs, umbrellas, and towels.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Order: Ensure that the pool and beach areas, including chairs, umbrellas, tables, garbage cans, restrooms, and locker room, are clean and well-maintained.
  • Respond to Guest Needs: Respond to all guest needs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide Clean Towels: Provide guests with clean towels as requested.
  • Set up Pool and Beach Stations: Properly set up pool, beach, and locker room stations daily.
  • Monitor Pool and Beach Entrance: Monitor pool and beach entrance areas to ensure only registered guests are accessing areas and remove any unregistered guests when necessary.
  • Distribute Pool Towels: Distribute appropriate number of pool towels for each registered room, ensuring all documentation has been completed with accurate information and signatures.
  • Communicate Hotel Menus and Services: Communicate hotel menus and services in an accurate and courteous manner.
  • Assist with Food Service: Assist as a food runner during slower beach entrance/exit times and higher food sales volume.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma: High school diploma preferred.
  • Job-Related Experience: Job-related experience in a similar setting preferred.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff verbally and in written form.
  • Self-Directed and Motivated: Highly motivated and self-directed individual.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work independently and as a team, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical Qualifications: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, with the ability to lift and carry 30 pounds.
