Garage Technician

STA offers competitive compensation for this full-time position, with an estimated salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year.

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our Coraopolis terminal team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and safety of our fleet.

• Perform thorough PM inspections and complete all required maintenance operations.
• Conduct unscheduled maintenance as needed and directed by supervisor.
• Perform complex repairs and field tests on engines, electrical systems, fuel systems, brakes, and exhausts.
• Document repairs and parts on work orders completely and accurately.

You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• A high school diploma or equivalent supplemented by specialized vehicle and equipment repair courses.
• At least two years of hands-on experience as a mechanic/technician in an automotive, school bus fleet, trucking or heavy equipment environment.
• ASE certification is a plus, and valid CDL with S and P endorsements is preferred.
