Position Summary
Axogen is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as a Financial Analyst. This role is crucial in supporting various functions within the organization and requires a proactive mindset to drive efficiencies and embrace change.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly actuals reporting packages, including variance analysis against benchmarks.
- Maintain headcount reports and collaborate with Human Resources on tracking authorized open positions.
- Provide monthly updates for capital projects and expense initiatives.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by collecting and analyzing department submissions, preparing reporting packages, and guiding business partners throughout the process.
- Become a subject matter expert on our reporting/planning system, performing maintenance activities, designing reports, and training colleagues on its use.
- Build financial models by identifying and verifying data sources.
- Recommend financial actions by evaluating options in relation to organizational goals.
- Contribute to team efforts by performing ad-hoc analyses and reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant financial experience in a corporate environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience with Planful is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as Great Plains, is a plus.

This position is eligible for an annual bonus. Work Schedule
