Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak LLC. This role will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and execution of our Quality Management System (QMS) and verifying products meet specifications and standards.

About the Role

This Quality Assurance Specialist position is based in Chicago Heights, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years' experience in quality assurance, with knowledge of industry tools for calibration purposes and reading blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure product realization processes meet all applicable specifications and standards.
  • Perform internal process audits to verify QMS effectiveness.
  • Maintain and control quality records associated with product verification, measuring equipment calibration, and material certification.
  • Inspect, test, and measure all finishing materials.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or GED preferred.
  • Vocational technical training in quality assurance related field is preferred.
