We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist NICU to join our team at Good Samaritan Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced nurse to take on a leadership role in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients in the NICU, utilizing advanced assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on best practices and evidence-based care.
- Conduct research and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for implementation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Master's degree in Nursing required.
- Current California RN License and California Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification required.
- Three to five years of Acute Care neonatal experience with a solid grasp of hemodynamics required.
- Three years prior work experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist preferred.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
