Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Allied Health Rehabilitation Service Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality pediatric therapy services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all rehabilitation programs meet organizational standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and deliver exceptional patient care.

As the leader of a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, you will drive the efficiency and effectiveness of rehabilitation services. Your strategic planning, staff development, budget management, and relationship-building skills will enable you to foster strong partnerships with healthcare providers, patients, and families to support comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, coordinate, and evaluate overall therapeutic services, promoting a team concept and collaborating with Clinical Services to promote high-quality, cost-effective rehabilitation services.
  • Coordinate and oversee assessment, treatment, program planning, development and implementation, and documentation communication.
  • Consistently oversee appropriate methods and quantities of treatment, utilizing safe and effective means as determined by patient needs and departmental standards. Effectively communicate treatment goals and plans in rounds and conferences; effectively educate and train individuals served, their families, and their caregivers.
  • Oversee Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy staff of all experience levels, providing supervision, support, and staff development; act as spokesperson for the team in program-based activities; responsible for quality improvement and community education.
  • Complete special projects such as participation in presentations, research, and others as assigned by the Administrator; provide accurate and timely reports.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology, and current state licensure. A Master's degree is preferred, along with 3-5 years of management experience in Rehabilitation/Therapy services. You should have expertise in treating pediatric patients with various diagnoses, including developmental disabilities, motor and sensory delays, and speech and language delays. Professional membership is also desirable.
