We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department RN to join our team as a travel nurse. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various emergency departments across the country, gaining valuable experience and skills.
Job Description:The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be able to work in a fast-paced, urgent, and emergency environment. As an ER Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for evaluating, triaging, and implementing care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
- Provide basic bedside care.
- Clean and bandage wounds.
- Provide IV therapy.
- Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
- Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
As an ER Travel Nurse, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:
- Stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
The right candidate will possess good skills for coping with stress and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Requirements:- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- 2 years of recent acute care experience.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
