Civil Engineering Project Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating project management activities from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery of engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. You should have a minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5-8 years of experience with 2-4 years as a Professional Engineer (PE).

As a Civil Engineering Project Coordinator, you will assist the project manager with preparing and finalizing engineering reports, implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control procedures, and assisting with invoicing and cost monitoring.

The estimated salary for this role is up to $90,000.00 per year, based on your experience and qualifications. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the project manager with engineering, planning, design development, contract negotiations, and other project-related activities.
  • Prepare and finalize engineering reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures to meet project standards.
  • Assist with invoicing and cost monitoring to ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with owners and clients to provide regular project updates and address any concerns or issues.
  • Assist with business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and fostering client relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 5-8 years experience with 2-4 years as PE
  • Project Engineering & Management experience
  • Knowledge & experience with design drawing and project management software
  • Experience in working with local entities
  • Demonstrated leadership, verbal & writing skills
  • Ability to guide/train & inspire engineers
  • Ability to satisfy clients with quality & timely submittals
