As a Culinary Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our onboard culinary facilities. Your responsibilities will include managing food preparation and meal services, maintaining high standards of quality and sanitation, and leading a team of skilled cooks. If you have experience working in high-volume, high-quality restaurants or hotels and possess industry qualifications such as a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or Food production, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the efficient operation of the galley, including administration, planning, and analyzing operations on a day-to-day basis with Chef and Sous Chef.
- Maintain company standards of food presentation and service, ensuring consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Direct and work closely with staff cooks and buffet cooks, promoting teamwork and motivating employees to reach their full potential.
- Monitor the quality of food taste and presentation, conducting regular consultations with Chef and Sous Chef when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with USPH standards by conducting nightly check-offs for assigned areas.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-5 years experience as a CDP or similar role in international high-volume, high-quality restaurants or hotels.
- Industry qualification such as a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or Food production.
