As a key member of the University's Title IX team, you will be responsible for assisting with the management and implementation of all Title IX compliance strategies, trainings, and programs. This will include ensuring prompt, equitable, and impartial Title IX processes for all members of the University community, investigating reports of discrimination, harassment, and related retaliation, and developing comprehensive investigation plans. You will also be responsible for collaborating with Human Resources, Faculty Affairs, and Student and Academic Affairs to facilitate the implementation of supportive measures and other accommodations for Title VII and Title IX.

With a strong focus on compliance and investigation, this role requires a deep understanding of federal, state, and local laws, statutes, regulations, codes, and standards related to Title IX. You will work closely with the Title IX Coordinator to assess Title IX compliance programming, develop training and risk reduction efforts, and review investigation findings for identification of sanctions and courses of action. Your strong investigation and project management skills, including writing, research, organization, and prioritization abilities, will be essential in this role.

As a hybrid position, you will work on campus, with a majority of your workweek being present on-campus. The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on the U.S. national average for similar positions. The actual salary may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with management and implementation of all Title IX compliance strategies, trainings, and programs
  • Investigate reports of discrimination, harassment, and related retaliation
  • Develop comprehensive investigation plans
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Faculty Affairs, and Student and Academic Affairs to implement supportive measures and other accommodations for Title VII and Title IX
  • Assess Title IX compliance programming and develop training and risk reduction efforts
  • Review investigation findings for identification of sanctions and courses of action

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, or related field
  • 3 years of experience investigating and resolving allegations of sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, statutes, regulations, codes, and standards related to Title IX
  • Excellent investigation and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Title IX, Title VII, and related laws and regulations
