Job Description

Danfoss Turbocor is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to drive sustaining projects and continuous improvement for our core product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project planning, including definition of requirements, scope, and deliverables, schedule building, budget planning, and resource planning.
  • Project execution, including management of schedules, budgets, deliverables, and risks.
  • Presentation of project status and deliverables to project stakeholders for milestone gate approval.
  • Publishing Project Status Reports and Project Schedules to deliver transparency of project progress, roadblocks, risk, and other Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
  • Facilitation of Project Control Meetings with project stakeholders and management to garner support and circumvent roadblocks.
  • Partnership with functional managers to lead project teams, drive decision-making, and facilitate continuous improvement of other, parallel business processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 3-5 years of full-time experience in engineering product development.
  • Project management experience, balancing time across multiple, cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Open-minded and out-of-the-box thinker.
  • Self-motivated to solve problems and develop plans to achieve goals.
  • Experience analyzing engineering design changes and working with complex Bills of Material.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis. Minitab experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a cross-functional, matrix environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, ability to filter and distill meaningful information for the right audience.
  • Extraordinary teammate with a positive demeanor who builds relationships quickly.
