Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Travel RT, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare facilities.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Respiratory Therapist to work in our NICU/PICU/PEDS ED/PEDS Floor department. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a pediatric setting and be proficient in using Meditech documentation system. The position requires a strong understanding of respiratory care principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the NICU, PICU, PEDS ED, and PEDS Floor departments
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement respiratory care interventions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including NC, HFNC, V-60, Drager, Avea, and 3100 Oscillator
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in Meditech
Requirements:
  • TN License
  • 1 year experience in respiratory therapy
  • PICU or NICU RT experience
  • BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
  • Ability to follow Asthma Guidelines
