Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Alpine Surgery Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care.

About the Role:
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols to promote positive patient outcomes
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, assessing their condition prior to and during all radiologic procedures
  • Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to physician preference cards
  • Test and monitor equipment for proper working condition, documenting records and other forms accurately
  • Communicate information about patient status to other staff responsible for care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of accredited school of radiology required
  • 1+ years' experience as a Radiology Technician, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Required
  • BLS required within 30 days of start
  • State Radiology Technician license required
