Job Overview

Kaplan North America, a leading provider of test preparation and education, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Master's prepared nurse to join our team as an NCLEX Instructor. As a key member of our instructional team, you will play a critical role in helping new nursing graduates succeed on the NCLEX exam.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective instruction to students, ensuring a high-quality learning experience
  • Facilitate active and ongoing classroom management, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices
  • Provide individualized support and feedback to students, helping them to achieve their academic goals
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and ongoing instructional meetings to stay current on best practices and industry trends
Requirements:
  • MSN or BSN with Master's required
  • Current, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse
  • 5+ years clinical nursing experience required
  • Previous teaching/training experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Weekday availability required
