About the Role:

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Team Lead to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, providing leadership, and promoting imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Ultrasound Department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and equipment, advocating for the use of best practices in imaging services.
  • Maintain accreditation standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of ultrasound equipment and other devices as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
  • Must meet requirements of the highest-level Ultrasound Technologist at the assigned entity.
  • ARDMS registered and/or RVT, RVS, RT(S), RT(VS) certification.
  • BLS Certified.
  • Evidence of leadership, critical problem-solving skills, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in leadership of personnel.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
