Role Responsibilities

The Care Partner is responsible for delivering compassionate support to the residents within the Meadowlark household. This encompasses assistance with daily living activities, meal preparation, companionship, and maintaining cleanliness.

Support for Residents

  • Assist with ADL (activities of daily living)
  • Organize, lead, and engage in meaningful activities
  • Facilitate prescribed exercises according to individual service plans
  • Help with mobility, positioning, and transportation of residents
  • Support the use of prosthetic and assistive devices
  • Prepare and serve meals, including breakfast and snacks

Quality Assurance

  • Monitor and document vital signs
  • Safely store medications received from the pharmacy
  • Maintain accurate documentation as per organizational policies
  • Collaborate with the care team to assess residents' needs and address any issues
  • Observe and report any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
  • Ensure timely responses to residents' requests for assistance

Housekeeping Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the residence, performing routine cleaning tasks
  • Change bed linens and make beds
  • Launder clothing, linens, and other items
  • Clean up after meals, including lunch and dinner

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Preferred: CPR certification
  • Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
