Job Summary

Cape Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical/Surgical team. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, taking into account the patient's age, developmental needs, and cultural and spiritual needs.
  • Utilize a multisystem approach to assess and reassess patients, adhering to unit policy.
  • Maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients, families, and significant others, providing care in a high-stress environment with multiple priorities.
  • Identify and prioritize patient problems and needs, implementing safety practices for those at risk and reporting abnormal clinical findings or changes in patient condition to the physician.
  • Maintain isolation procedures, administer IV therapy, and manage wound care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Medical Surgical Nursing experience preferred.
  • Current registration with the New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
