As a Forensic Psychiatrist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides inpatient stabilization to individuals referred from the surrounding courts for competency restoration.

  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients.
  • Conduct competency evaluations and provide expert testimony in court as needed.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree recognized by the Georgia Composite Medical Board (GCMB).
  • Licensure or license-eligible to practice medicine at a state institution or in the state of Georgia.
  • Two years of experience at the lower level Physician 2 (HCP161) or position equivalent.
