We are seeking compassionate and caring individuals to join our team as Resident Care Assistants at Town Village Sterling Heights. As a Resident Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional senior living experiences for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Physical and Psychosocial Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, while promoting dignity and individuality.
- Collaborate with Peers and Team Members: Work collaboratively with other wellness department associates to ensure residents receive necessary care and services.
- Document Provision of Services: Accurately document provision of services on company forms to maintain accurate records.
- Operate Designated Medical Equipment: Safely operate designated medical equipment, such as copy machines and telephones.
- Escorts Residents and Coordinates Transportation: Escort residents and coordinate internal transportation needs to ensure safe and efficient movement.
- Ability to Read, Write, and Speak English: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents and colleagues.
- Satisfactory Completion of Competency Checklist: Successfully complete the company's Resident Assistant skills competency checklist.
- Good Physical Health and Ability to Lift 40 Pounds: Maintain good physical health and be able to lift 40 pounds to perform job duties.
- Completion of Drug Testing and Background Check: Pass a drug test and background check upon hire and as requested by supervisors.
- Experience in Assisted Living: Previous experience in assisted living or a related field is preferred.
