Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our team at Prevea Clinic, Inc. in Allouez. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering primary health care services to patients, families, and groups, emphasizing the promotion of health and prevention of disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments for acute and chronic patients.
  • Assess and manage care for acute, minor, episodic illnesses and injuries.
  • Provide health and illness prevention advice to patients and families.
  • Perform follow-up exams and assessments.
  • Collaborate with patients to determine their physiologic, emotional, and environmental needs and priorities.
  • Provide case management services to assist clients and families with arranging for or referring patients to needed services.
  • Manage patient health concerns through telephone triage and consultation as needed.
  • Order diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribe pharmacological agents, and provide non-pharmacological treatment modalities as necessary.
  • Maintain and review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information.
  • Report diagnostic findings and provide consultation to patients and families.
  • Participate in call coverage and attend department meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a master's level Physician Assistant program.
  • Experience requirements may vary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification through ANCC or ANA.
  • Certified in the State of Wisconsin as a Physician Assistant Prescriber or certification eligible.
  • Maintains current CPR certification and ACLS certification.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
