The Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and other veterinary technicians with medical procedures and exams
- Monitor and maintain patient records, including medical history and treatment plans
- Administer medications and perform laboratory tests as needed
- Provide exceptional client service and communicate effectively with pet owners
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary setting (preferably in emergency or ICU)
- Registered, Licensed, or Certified Veterinary Technician/Assistant (RVT, LVT, CVT/CVA) certification
- Experience with venipuncture, restraint, IV catheter placement, and other medical procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
