Job Opportunity

Simpson University is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach Accounting and Business Management courses in the Business Department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in accounting and business management content, as well as experience with multimedia instruction and related technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach 12 hours or 3 classes per semester;
  • Assist with curriculum and program development;
  • Advise, audit, and mentor students;
  • Hold office hours for students;
  • Attend department meetings and professional development activities;
  • Ensure timely completion of assessments and grades.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate degree in accounting, finance, or management;
  • Experience with multimedia instruction and related technology;
  • Successful teaching experience in higher education;
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for interacting with students;
  • Experience with academic advising and degree auditing;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and knowledge of learning management platforms.
