About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at Mercy. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging technology.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients for exams, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and efficient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret orders and produce high-quality CT images
  • Position and transfer patients safely and efficiently
  • Select proper technical factors for individual patient needs
  • Operate equipment as directed and maintain a safe working environment
  • Assist physicians with administering enhancing agents and medications
  • Maintain current CPR certification and perform first aid as needed
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:

  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training
  • Acquired experience and demonstrated capability in CT scanning
  • A.R.R.T. registration or registry eligibility upon hire, with A.R.R.T. achievement within six months
  • Preferred certification: ARRT Advanced Level certification in CT Scan or working towards certification
