Job Summary:

The Production Coordinator at Thompson Pipe Group will be responsible for overseeing the production schedule, coordinating with customers for deliveries, generating Bills of Lading (BOLs), and ordering production materials. This role requires close collaboration with the operations team to ensure seamless production processes and on-time order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production schedule to ensure efficient and timely operations.
  • Coordinate with customers to arrange deliveries and accurately generate loading tickets (BOLs).
  • Order and maintain inventory of production materials, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of submittal packages, with an opportunity to learn basic CAD functionalities.
  • Conduct daily visits to the production facility to coordinate with the operations team on order status and production updates.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Thompson Pipe Group's polymer operations and the broader industry.

Requirements:

  • Experience or studies in Construction, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities and technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of production and manufacturing processes, particularly in the polymer industry, is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction, manufacturing, or polymer sectors is advantageous.
