Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Scott Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and procurement, with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for selecting and purchasing quality products and materials, building relationships with suppliers, and negotiating prices. They will also process requisitions, update inventory, and track orders to ensure timely delivery.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, with the ability to analyze market trends and make informed buying decisions. They will also be able to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and working effectively with inventory teams and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and select quality products and materials.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices.
• Process requisitions and update management on order status.
• Update inventory and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Analyze market trends and make informed buying decisions.
• Coordinate with inventory teams and management as required.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with purchasing software.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
