About the RoleWe are seeking a Fulfillment Expert to join our team, responsible for ensuring a seamless and efficient guest experience. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for picking, prepping, packing, sorting, and shipping products safely, efficiently, and effectively to deliver convenience and quality for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Create a welcoming experience for guests by authentically greeting and engaging with them in a genuine way.
- Observe and quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact, following body language and verbal clues to tailor your approach.
- Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
- Select items for order pickup, drive up, and ship to home for digital guest orders.
- Accurately put on hold all order pickup and drive up orders.
- Properly prepare, pack, and sort guest orders for shipment using correct materials.
- Meet productivity metrics and other fulfillment goals.
- Meet guest order promise times to deliver on the guest demand.
- Own your workspace and supplies; keep equipment and designated areas organized and supplies in stock.
- Properly use equipment while following safety best practices.
- Follow all safety guidelines, operating procedures, product freshness, and quality standards.
- Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
- Work in a safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others; identify and correct hazards; comply with all safety policies and best practices.
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU), and Drive up (DU), and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
- Learn and adapt to current technology needs.
- Work both independently and with a team.
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
- Attention to detail and follow a multi-step process.
- Able to accurately handle cash register operations.
- Able to climb up and down ladders.
- Able to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, and holidays) and regular attendance necessary.
