Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team at TTI, Inc. This role is responsible for providing janitorial services, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide janitorial services, including cleaning bathrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, and kitchen areas
  • Restock supplies as needed and maintain janitorial closets in a clean and organized manner
  • Empty trash and replace trash can liners, sweep and mop floors, and clean other surfaces
  • Maintain clean and safe grounds in an efficient manner, following proper procedures to ensure company and safety regulations are met
  • Operate company vehicles to transport materials and maintain offsite facilities, as needed
  • Complete additional duties and projects as directed by Supervisor/Manager or senior technicians
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • One year of basic janitorial experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and team work orientation
  • Detailed oriented, energetic, and goal focused
  • Good verbal and written English language skills
  • Ability to read and understand written work instructions, safety rules, and operating instructions
  • Ability to understand liquid measurements
  • Ability to use general mathematical skills (i.e. add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
  • Ability to operate maintenance equipment (e.g. golf cart)
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop/bend and climb (e.g. ladders, etc.) on a regular basis for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to work in small, confined, or difficult spaces
  • Ability to work unexpected shifts/hours due to business requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and move objects up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis using proper lifting techniques
  • Must arrive on time to work scheduled hours and complete assigned tasks
  • Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License, safe driving record and be insurable by company's liability carrier
